At Frasier, you are able to do what you want to do. The variety of trips and programs offered is just amazing to me. But, while there are many opportunities to participate in activities and programs, I am able to pursue my own interests and do the things that I enjoy on my own terms. My favorite activities are reading and listening to music. Whatever you want to do, Frasier helps you do it.

The staff exceeds my expectations. Their never-failing politeness and willingness to help at all times is remarkable. I really wasn’t sure if I would like retirement living. I was not sure I would be completely happy here after living in my own home for so many years, but I really am. So far, I have enjoyed every minute.

What I enjoy most about Frasier is that when I look around, I see friends. I see people who are interested in the same things that interest me. Frasier provides opportunities to hear exceptional speakers on timely issues and arranges trips to experience what is happening in the classroom, laboratories, and museums in the Boulder area. In addition, the Frasier staff is superb. I can’t believe how helpful and friendly they all are. Before we moved, we knew Frasier was the retirement community for us, but our experience has gone beyond our expectations.

What I enjoy most about Frasier is that the “Frasier community” is, in fact, a community: people of diverse backgrounds who know one another, help one another, worry about one another and sustain one another. The staff is also part of the community—not a group of employees who come and go. While I was well-acquainted with Frasier before moving in, I have been somewhat surprised (and quite pleased) with the variety of social, recreational and intellectual activities that are available to and utilized by residents.

There is much to appreciate about life at Frasier. As a musician, I appreciate the fact that I can practice piano in my apartment. Frasier was built with excellent sound-proofing, so my near-by friends are not disturbed. To maintain my ability to perform in concerts, I exercise at the wellness center in our building and at the first-class athletic club across the street. Moreover, the dining room provides healthy food as well as comfort food. Frasier offers a richer lifestyle than I could imagine before retirement.
